Engineering Vision into Reality
At the helm of 3Vi, Inc. is Zara Younossi, P.E. PMP, CCM a trailblazer with a commitment to evolving rail systems through the lens of tomorrow’s technology. With over 20 years of experience in the rail sector in the U.S., U.K. and Australia, Zara quickly distinguished herself as a strong leader in specialized rail systems design coupled with successful rail project delivery. Her range of experience in rail systems engineering demonstrates her innate ability to navigate the complex challenges. Her past rail project experience includes, California High Speed Rail, London Underground, Sub Surface Railways (SSR) Upgrade, Bay Area Rapid Transit’s Traction Power Substation Replacement Program, and Washington Metro’s Nextgen CBTC Program Zara is a registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) Electrical in the State of California, a U.K. Chartered Engineer, and an International Professional Engineer (IntPE).
But beyond the blueprints and construction sites, Zara stands as a vanguard for women in STEM, embodying the very principles 3Vi holds dear. Under her leadership, the company culture promotes creativity, inclusivity, mentorship, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Leading by example, Zara’s commitment to professional excellence is demonstrated by her multiple credentials, including Project Management Professional, Certified Construction Manager, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Network+. Her leadership style—marked by a blend of technical acumen, empathetic leadership, and visionary thinking—has positioned 3Vi as an emerging leader in the rail, systems engineering, and power sectors.
